Hey guys!
I'm from Portugal, I don't speak italian so I apologize.. 
I want to share with you some photos and a video of my Yamaha RD 500 V4 with a small engine tuning, reving @ the workshop.
Small engine tuning, new cylinder iron cast sleeves with new port diagrams, using Mikuni TM 30mm carburetors without air filters, Yamaha genuine parts TZR 50 reeds, new ignition with LuFo's CDI, JOLLY MOTO pipes for stock engine transformed by cuting in lenght, compression ratio of 13.5:1 using wiseco 56mm pistons.
YPVS manual variation option, variating from 194º to 210º.
Near 110 - 130 engine hp with 12 300 - 12 800 rpm maximum in charge depending of the exhaust timing opening.

Hi Pedro... very nice work... as I can see, white hair's hands have made a good job on your jewel. 
Unfortunately today it's very hard to find young & good peoples to work on our bike (I've made all by myself).
However very nice work... very very nice.
Just make some video when you'll make some training on road too |

Hello Pedro, I'm also very intersed on your CDI. The original one is very limited. Did you compensate for the difference in phasing between the two banks? Do you have picures of the TZR50 reeds? Are they compatible with the stock cage or did you enlarge the manifold?
...got tons of questions....

Thanks for the feedback guys!
About the questions and the request for more photos, I intend to put them online in my website, so I ask you to be a "little" bit more patient, because I already have near 40 photos of the RD evolution, and each on has ~300 kb! 
About the Yamaha TZR 50 reeds, indeed they fit in the stock RD 500 cage!
The CDI unit was built by the tuner LuFo (the guy with white hairs in the movie reving the RD ) with a new ignition map starting 4mm of the TDC and ending @ 1mm like a normal racing bike like Honda RS 125
GP etc..
I live 20 km from Lisbon! And the tuner LuFo is from SINTRA a well known mountain that appears in films like the NINTH DOOR with Johny Depp ehehe

| Ciao Itachi, quando si apre la pagina, clikka sul free nella tabella....dopo un attimo si apre un altra pagina. Aspetta ancora un attimo e viene fuori una scritta che dice che il video e' stato scaricato tot volte...e dopo ti viene fuori una riga con scritto di immettere i caratteri che si vedono sullo schermo e iniziare a scaricare il video.... |
